DAP-C was born and raised in Battle Hill, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.
He started rapping back in 2003 he recorded his debut album 'CHARACTER BUILDING' with local producer Dom-P (Dom Zilla) which was instantly signed to Sin Nombre Records and released early 2004.
DAP-C then released several free mix tapes including 'THE RICHEST MISFIT' which featured the singles 'THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF' (featuring SKINNYMAN) and 'WALKING IN THE RAIN, both of these tracks were big on the CHANNEL U most requested chart.
In June 2008 Dap-C released a collaboration album with producer Dirty Sweet called 'Street Karma' on his own label N.G.U. Records. The album featured BLAK TWANG, FALLACY, LEWIS PARKER, SKINNYMAN, SIR SMURF LIL, MR.DRASTICK, STYLAH & many more.
In February 2009 DAP-C & LIL WAYNE released 'THE MA MONEY EP' CD/DVD, which featured artists like PROFESSOR GREEN, TALIB KWELI, ROYCE DA 5'9, R.H.BLESS & many more
In the summer of 2010 DAP-C took on his first two acting roles, firstly in the NIK SPENCER film THE PLAGUE, then in the PHILLIP GARDINER movie THE STONE. Both productions are being released in 2011 through WARNER BROS.
